The screen: modes & how the wall rotates

You choose how photos appear on the screen, and you can switch live at any time. On a schedule the screen can rotate through modes on its own (there is a minimum time between switches).

The three modes

Each mode suits a different moment:

  • Slideshow — one photo at a time, fullscreen. Cinematic and calm.
  • Grid — a tidy grid of the most recent moments.
  • Mural — a dense living wall of many photos at once.

How the living wall rotates

The wall keeps a set number of tiles on screen. Every few seconds one single tile gently crossfades to the next photo, cycling through every photo in a loop — so older moments keep coming back around. Because only one tile changes at a time, there is always plenty of time to look at the rest.

When a brand-new photo arrives, it jumps straight onto a tile with a blue highlight ring so nobody misses it.

Portrait and landscape

On the mural, portrait photos get a tall tile and landscape photos a wide one, so nothing is cropped — the wall stays natural whatever shape guests shoot in.
